It's Looking Up!

So last week I wasn't feeling so great and I feel like I may have taken that out on you, but I now it's looking up!

I'm feeling better, more energized and ready for the challenge that home-education brings. So in celebration of this fact I have decided to share the prologue of the book I'm writing:

There are two kingdoms Gyldenfold and Oscurofold there are polar opposites.

Gyldenfold is the kingdom of light and Oscurofold is the kingdom of dark

There is a dome made of balanced energy connecting the two worlds and this is where the peace is kept and organised between the rulers of the two kingdoms.

Peace between the two realms was an extreme task so it required an extortionate amount of time and energy.

This caused King Orka of Oscurofold to focus entirely on peace instead of his son. This in turn caused Prince Skoll, who felt abandoned and unloved, to blame the peace treaty and Gyldenfold for his father’s neglect of him. When Skoll confronted his father, the king told him to stop being so dramatic. Skoll was told to leave.Enraged by yet another act of disregard for him, Skoll lost his temper and control of the dark powers he wielded. Unfortunately his father was killed in the incident and instead of blaming himself, he once again blamed the peace treaty and Gyldenfold . Which meant a revenge driven teenager was now in charge of an entire kingdom.
